He leaves behind his wife, Abigail; children Ethan, Ella Grace, Eris and Ehren Kincaid. Brad had been on the department for about five years, but was not close to retiring. So, the Fraternal Order of Police say his family is not eligible for a lot of benefits. The FOP helped set up an account in Kincaid's name at the Louisville Metro Police Officers Credit Union where people can donate money. The FOP says the family will lose their health insurance at the end of the month. Dave Mutchler, the FOP President, says, "Anybody who feels compelled to donate to that fund for the family in their time of need, we greatly appreciate it. And, if anyone would love to do that, but finds them self in a situation where that's not feasible, we'd just love their thoughts and prayers for the Kincaid family." The FOP says the funeral was also a celebration of Kincaid's life. He was a Marine Corps Veteran who loved to work out. He was also an avid runner. Officer Kincaid was a Marine Corp veteran, a member of the Church of Christ Latter Day Saints and a member of RCFOP Lodge #614. An account is open in the name of the "Brad Kincaid Memorial Account" at the Louisville Metro Police Officers Credit Union (www.lmpocu.com). This will provide support for the family.
